Delivery, Collection and Return Policy

Thank you for choosing Photo J for your online shopping. We aim to provide you with a simple, transparent, and professional service. Please review the following information before completing your order.

 

Product availability

We do our best to maintain an up-to-date inventory. However, it is possible that an item shown as available may no longer be in stock when your order is processed.

Completing an online order does not guarantee immediate availability.

If a product is out of stock or requires a lead time from a supplier, we will contact you promptly to:

  • To inform you of the estimated delivery time;
  • You propose an alternative, if available;
  • Allows you to maintain, modify or cancel your order.


Home delivery

We offer delivery throughout Canada.


Photographic equipment

(Cameras, lenses, accessories, etc.)

The fees are calculated based on the total order before taxes:

  • $0 to $250: $24.99
  • $250.01 to $750: $19.99
  • $750.01 to $2,500: $14.99
  • $2,500.01 and up: $9.99


Print commands

(Prints, enlargements, etc.)

  • $0 to $250: $19.99
  • $250.01 to $500: $14.99
  • $500.01 and up: $9.99

Production times may vary depending on the product and the time of year. Delivery begins once the order is ready to leave our facilities.


Custom products

Personalized products (gift items with photo printing) are not eligible for delivery.

In-store pickup only.

You will receive an email when your order is ready.

 


Delivery times

Delivery times are generally 7 to 10 working days, depending on the region and busier periods.

These delays begin at the time of shipment.

A tracking number will be sent to you by email.

We are not responsible for delays caused by the carrier, weather conditions, or any situation beyond our control.

 


In-store pickup

In-store pickup is free.

Please wait for the email confirming that your order is ready before coming in.

 


Return and exchange policy

Your satisfaction is important to us.


Time limit

  • In-store purchase: 15 days following purchase
  • Online purchase: 15 days following the delivery date

Any item received damaged or incomplete must be reported within 3 days of receipt.

 

Return conditions

To be eligible:

  • The product must be in its original condition;
  • It must show no signs of use;
  • The original packaging and all accessories must be included;
  • An invoice is mandatory.

We reserve the right to refuse a return if these conditions are not met.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, except in the case of an error on our part or a defective product upon receipt.

 

Final sale items

The following items are non-refundable:

  • Special orders;
  • Customized products;
  • Large format printers;
  • Items marked as "final sale".

 

Guarantee


New products

Covered by the manufacturer's warranty, which applies only to manufacturing defects. Damage caused by misuse, accident, or external factors is not covered.

Shipping costs to a service center are the responsibility of the customer.


Used products

Covered by a 60-day limited warranty (parts and labor), unless otherwise stated.


General terms and conditions of sale

By making a purchase on our site, you agree to these terms and conditions.

We reserve the right to modify our policies, prices, and terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. The applicable terms and conditions are those in effect at the time of order confirmation.


Pricing and display errors

Despite our vigilance, errors can occur.

In the event of a clear error in price or description (e.g., an abnormally low price due to a system error), we reserve the right to:

  • To cancel the order;
  • To correct the price;
  • To offer the customer the option of keeping the order at the corrected price or cancelling it.

An automatic email confirmation does not constitute an obligation to deliver in the event of an obvious error.


Payment and fraud prevention

We may refuse or cancel an order in the event of:

  • Invalid payment information;
  • Suspicion of fraud ;
  • Inconsistent address;
  • Transaction deemed high risk.

We may contact you to confirm certain information before shipment.


Order cancellation

An order can be cancelled free of charge as long as it has not been processed or shipped.

Once shipped, it is subject to the return policy.

Special orders and customized products cannot be cancelled once production or the supplier order has begun.


Limitation of liability

We cannot be held responsible for:

  • Delays attributable to the carrier;
  • Address errors provided by the customer;
  • Circumstances beyond our control;
  • Indirect losses, loss of revenue, operating losses, or loss of data.

Photo J's maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the product in question.


Law 29 – Guarantee of Availability (Quebec)

In accordance with Quebec's Consumer Protection Act, certain goods may be subject to a guarantee of availability of parts, services and information necessary for their maintenance.
